My experience at the Walmart Superstore today was better in a long time. We can get out after shopping much faster. The workers are stopping what they are doing and help you. We would sing, "Hotel California" in line trying to get out of the store, "you can get in but you can never leave". We started going to other stores because it took so long to get out. BETTER!
There are some very friendly staff members, but also some very rude ones. Clean enough and your usual Wal-Mart prices, but this particular store has a problem with keeping the shelves adequately stocked. Convenient location. All in all, a pretty good store.
Look at the ditch that runs beside this Callaway Walmart, 7th Street, it is full of trash. I called and spoke to a manager about it, she told ME to call the city. I told her SHE needed to call the city, or better yet, have some employees clean it out since this is trash that comes from their Walmart parking lot. Three days later, it still looks horrible. Hey Walmart, have some pride in your surroundings. Your customers caused it, keep it clean.
This is a convenient location in Panama city, however it is not as large as the other two nearby and the selection is very minimal in each section. Their book selection is practically nonexistent. They have two small shelves and the books are stacked on top of each other as an afterthought, like they were not sure what to do with them. Their computer accessories are the same way. You won't be able to find much of anything for computers here. Which is sad, they used to have a large competitive section. You will find your basic needs here so it is nice to have it.
Great prices. Good selection. Staff is generally helpful unless you get a bad one. Self checkout is a big plus and saves a lot of time.
