Dr Mapp better watch whats going on. Find another receptionist before more patients are lost. Good employees leave from there because the place is run like a carnival.
My 92 year mother needed a Doctor for several issues. Doctor Mapp thank you so much for seeing my mother. Your manner of talking with her and answering her questions was beyond approach and I thank you. I can only be humbled for providing care to mom and would recommend you to any age group for your knowledge, experience and ease to communicate with on medical and life issues. On more than one occasion the receptionist for Dr Mapp called me to change my appointment. I arrived for the new appointment and there is a sign saying the office was closed. I thought this was my fault and I must have wrote it down wrong. I rescheduled and thought no more of it.
For whatever the reason, this is the most outrageous thing I have been subjected to by what I thought was a professional business. I don't have time for games in my schedule. I was a patient there for several years and didn't find it the least bit amusing.
The second time was the last. The appointment was for Dec 30 2015 at 8:00 am. The receptionist said Dr Mapp would not be in the office that day but could I come the next day at the same time. I listened carefully and repeated the appointment time to her which she quietly confirmed as if she was was doing something wrong.

Sure enough I arrived on time the next day to find the same thing as before, the office was closed. Either she gave my appointment to someone else who wanted that last day of the year appointment so their insurance would pay or she was instructed to clear the day for him.
The office is run more like a party in the back. Tales of what went on the weekend before and birthday parties while patients wait in rooms to be seen by the doctor. Very unprofessional and disappointing behavior.
