I have had an extremely rough past month, and my family has suffered right along with me. Coming up with the money daily to stay here has been a challenge since I cannot work due to my condition and my husband lost his job while I was in the hospital...but they work with us here. They don't just push us out or away...ignore those bad comments...give this hotel a try. I wouldn't give it anything less than 5 stars. It and it's staff deserve 10.
I went into Sudden Cardiac Arrest on Sept. 27, 2017. I died twice and was resuscitated both times. I was in a medically induced coma and I was not expected to make it past Friday, Sept. 28, 2017. I now have to wear a heart defibrillator 24/7 and have to have potentially 3 more surgeries on my heart. During this time, myself, my husband, and my kids, along with my furbabies, were staying with my mother-in-law. She found out she had colon cancer and also had to have neck surgery. As she was lying in the hospital, she was evicted. So, we had nowhere to go. She was staying with her sisters and they are helping her with her doctor appts and getting her to chemo and radiation.
Anyway, my husband, myself, and my kids were gifted a 1 week stay at Woodspring Suites and this is where we have been for the last 2 weeks...with our pets. I have nothing negative to say about this place. They have worked with us, the staff is so polite, all the time...I have yet to meet one who's anything but polite. It's clean, secure, and I feel safe having my children and pets here. Ms. Esther has been a absolute pleasure...never judging us for our situation and never not trying to help. The maids work long hours making sure it's clean...and they do a wonderful job.
Not bad at all, It's an extended stay, and a good price. That said, if you are going to get upset about housekeeping once every two weeks, not read their policies, cause a ruccus, or show your rear to try and get something for free, stay elsewhere and pay double or more. Been here 3 months, with three more to go. Only problems have been people not.using their heads, parking stupid or burning food and setting off fire alarm. Good place, great staff, awesome price, and always friendly and accommodating!
I've read some negative reviews about this hotel but I really hope they don't deter too many potential guests...there's always going to be "that somebody" who nothing is good enough for.
They I made reservations in April to help ensure I got certain rooms; when I checked in one of the rooms was unavailable. My card was over charged. Then later double charged which caused issues with things we were going to do with our kids.
Definitely not my favorite place to stay, but our room was pretty clean and the staff helpful. There was an odd smell throughout the building and our room, but thankfully the window in the room opened so we were able to air it out a bit. Not the best place I've ever stayed, but definitely not the worst. It's an okay place to stay if you want somewhere cheap to sleep for a night or two.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Customer service is terrible.. was over charged and management refused to refund me.. after 4 days of being here I was locked out of my room because I hadn't signed my receipt even though they had already over charged me.. when we walked in a woman told us "if you haven't paid you should walk out and find another hotel" we should have listened... we will NEVER stay here again and i would not recommend this place to anyone.. If I could give 0 stars I would.. I contacted corporate and they did nothing but put me back in contact with the general manager of the hotel.. I'm guessing bad service starts from the top and runs down.. this is a warning FIND ANOTHER HOTEL!!! If you don't take my advice and decide to stay don't make any agreements with hotel resident they won't honor his word!!!
