One of the best mechanics that I have ever known. I am having to move shortly and just wish I can find a mechanic as well as he is.
Luckily I found Paul after I bought a 87 944. His knowledge is amazing. The car had a strong engine but had a few issues that needed to be worked out. He was able to fix it and I have not had any problems with it since. Just as the other two reviews state, Paul's work is superior and very sound judgement. I don't trust anybody but him to work on my car. If you want your car fixed right the first time then take it to him.
I've been a customer of Automotive Alternative since their beginning (and even before when Paul worked for RV at EG). Paul is a great technician, and I have always felt his work was superior and his judgement sound. He charges fair labor and I've always been satisfied. He's a lot busier than he was 10 yrs ago, and that just shows that he has built up a strong base of repeat customers. Yes, I'd recommend him!
Paul is the most honest man when it comes to your car needs. I don't trust anyone else with my vehicles. He doesn't want you to spend more than you have to and that's not found very often.
